An article you recently created, National School of Rural Engineering, Water Resources and Forestry, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. buidhe 02:06, 11 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Teddy Baubigny has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. @Killarnee: please consider the presence of a template such as "in creation" before you move someone's page to draft... --Coco (talk) 21:22, 11 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That's exactly why I moved the page... --Killarnee (T12) 21:27, 11 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Killarnee: Please read it better then, "To help avoid edit conflicts and other confusion, the creator asks that for a short time this page not be edited unnecessarily, or nominated for deletion during this early stage of development". Moving a page in draft at this stage is only wasting everybody's time. --Coco (talk) 21:45, 11 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:Elsa la rose a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Elsa la rose. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. --Killarnee (T12) 21:29, 11 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Killarnee: The history of my draft is literally just me creating the page. There is no issue as far as I'm concerned. Sure it would have been better to move the Draft, my bad, I didn't think of it, but come on... --Coco (talk) 21:37, 11 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Cocô53:, I have moved your page Paolo Garbisi to a Draft page as the player does not qualify for WP:NRU. The player hasn't played in any professional league (The Italian league is not a professional league as listed by Wikipedia), or represented the Italian national team in 15-a-side or Sevens. There is not enough significant coverage of this player that is reliable, secondary and independent of the subject for it to be classified as notable, and the common consensus on players has been the WP:NRU overrides WP:GNG in most cases. Thanks. Rugbyfan22 (talk) 11:10, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I understand that the player doesn't reach WP:NRU, although Italy's top tier not being fully professional is debatable, but in my view it clearly reaches WP:GNG, with national sources such as OA Sport or even Onrugby or Allrugby. Therefore I will see another movement to the draft space as quite inappropriate: if you do not agree with what I said above, please lunch an AfD discussion. And not only do I think that there is no consensus on WP:NRU overriding WP:GNG, but that is actually complete nonsense: WP:NRU is only a presumption that WP:GNG has been reached, as is WP:NSPORT (where NRU is included), all this being clearly stated in the mentioned pages. Thank you. --Coco (talk) 13:50, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Cocô53: thanks for your reply, Italy's top tier is not currently listed as a professional league by Wikipedia. If you feel that is incorrect please feel free to bring it up on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Rugby union. Still I believe that there is not enough significant coverage for the player to be notable. The sources you've listed tend to relate to him playing for Italy U20 or from joining Benetton. Players who play at U20 level don't qualify for notability. Many of these sources are also primary sources from the clubs he plays for/has played for and so are not independent. I believe that WP:NSPORT was brought in to work alongside WP:GNG because otherwise you could create a wikipedia article about literally anybody mentioned in a news article. By leaving as a draft page also it gives the ability to move to a full page once he plays a professional game and I don't want to flag it for deletion as this may well happen. Thanks. Rugbyfan22 (talk) 14:12, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Rugbyfan22: Yes, I might soon try to see if Top12 shouldn't be included in the fully professional league here, but it is not relevant for what I'm trying to say. WP:GNG really does not say "create a wikipedia article about literally anybody mentioned in a news article" and you should really read it again if you think that it says that : it actually states that a topic is notable if it "has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject", which is clearly not the same. All the words in these sentence are clearly defined, and here for Garbisi we have a few sources fitting this quite complete definition, such as this one or this other one (and actually even only one of such sources would be notable). Those secondary sources are clearly focused on the player globally, and it is by no mean just a trivial mention of the player.
So really moving the page to the draft space leaving a redirection in the main one does not make any sense. Either we keep the page either you start an AfD (and in both cases that doesn't mean the page can also be preserved in the draft space), but what you are doing is clearly not appropriate. Speedy deletions or other similar processes such as yours are legitimate only if there is a clear consensus. That is very clearly not the case. The only way it can be determined if those sources really don't fit into WP:GNG (which I don't believe) is through a proper AfD discussion. Thanks. p.s.: you don't need to notify me here, when you write on a user page it automatically notifies him. --Coco (talk) 13:42, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
For me the player still does not receive enough 'significant coverage'. I guess it depends on a person's definition of significant coverage which isn't clearly defined. For me I still have a slight issue with these sources as I'm not sure how reliable they are. I fully understand why you feel it is acceptable under WP:GNG but I feel that by allowing pages like this with 'weak' sources you could still literally allow articles about anybody that has played a game of rugby. I am going to AfD the page with the view that it is WP:TOOSOON and should be Draftied as it's a very well written page, but I fully understand your difference of opinion. I'm also going to tidy up the page as there are some errors in translation in it now. Thanks. Rugbyfan22 (talk) 14:26, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, thanks for understanding, I'll answer you more deeply directly in the AfD page. In the meantime of course feel free to improve the article! Sincerly, --Coco (talk) 14:51, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Abdelmalek Amara requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Abdelmalek Amara. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Cocô53, You have contested and presented your arguments. Wait for a reviewer or admin to take the decision. Removing speedy delete by the creator itself is considered a form of WP:Vandalism. See Wikipedia:Field_guide_to_proper_speedy_deletion#General_basics_about_speedy_deletion last para that clearly mentions It is also strongly recommended that you leave a message with the article creator when nominating an article for speedy deletion. While the author is not to remove the tag, they may be able to solve the problem or explain why the deletion would be improper by explaining on the talk page Please be courteous – speedy deletion can be a tough process for some to swallow ~ Amkgp 💬 06:55, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Jean Constantin (songwriter), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. Matteo Ruggeri[edit]

Hi. Could you please stop overwriting my changes Matteo Ruggeri without an explanation? It's rude. Linking "Italian" is WP:Overlinking. The page has been live for more than half an hour. You can't keep others from editing for that long. Considers using Wikipedia:Drafts. Robby.is.on (talk) 22:09, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Robby.is.on: sorry but you are the one who is being very rude: I very clearly put a template to prevent edit conflicts, precisely to avoid this kind of situation were one user cannot contribute without having to choose between one version or another.
In this case I would really warmly recommend to wait until the user as finished the creation before adding your own modification, your way of working is just counter-productive and serves no purpose. I was meaning to add your content to the page but you have to let the opportunity for the other user to contribute without being constantly in an edit conflict. And it was very easy to realize that I was contributing to the page. Plus literally undoing my modification is really frankly quite a bad behavior. That is not a healthy way to contribute. Thank you. --Coco (talk) 22:19, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I suggest you don't publish half-arsed pages next time. It's not reasonable to expect others to hold off editing when the article is in such a poor state. Have a look through my article creations ([1]), the pages were pretty much done when I created them. Robby.is.on (talk) 22:22, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Robby.is.on: I don't know what you want me to say, I'm very happy for you if you have found what you think is the best way to create articles.
But please be conscious there are other ways to proceed such as mine that are completely legitimate, and the "in creation" precisely serves this purpose, to allow such way to proceed.
You started editing the page 10 minutes after I created it, although everything was indicating that this would create an edit conflict. And your only reaction was to repeat that over and over again, creating more conflicts. The problem is not that there should be only one user editing the page, but is that the way you edited was blatantly useless as I was currently doing the exact same thing you were trying to do. The only thing you did is disrupte the process of editing, making bot of us waste our time in discussions, etc.
So again, I really warmly recommend you to consider what is the best way to help building a page under construction. Thank you. --Coco (talk) 23:02, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There's also Miguel Gutiérrez (Peruvian footballer) and Miguel Gutiérrez (Mexican footballer), and no PRIMARYTOPIC at this exact moment. Cheers!--Ortizesp (talk) 00:33, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Ortizesp: I've cleaned the pages up. Nehme1499 01:16, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please, remove the template when you are done. Thanks. Nehme1499 17:21, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Nehme1499: sorry I was waiting for an answer here, but ok, I'm gonna remove it now. --Coco (talk) 18:26, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Next time, see WP:REFUND. Also, if an article is being nominated for deletion, you can always copy and paste the article in your sandbox (or create a user sub-page, as I've done in my own sandbox), this way when the player becomes notable you already have the information. @Nehme1499: Yes thanks, I know, i'll keep that in mind, even though I usually try to create only articles that reach the criteria. Anyway, in this case, it's not like there was that much content that I lost. --Coco (talk) 19:22, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

According to both soccerway and national-football-teams, Adam Ben Lamin didnt play for Tunisia in their game vs. Mali. Where do you find this info? --Fredde (talk) 14:14, 17 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

El Chadaille Bitshiabu[edit]

Hi, there is already Draft:El Chadaille Bitshiabu if you would like to contribute. There is no need to edit User:Cocô53/f2 and change it into Bitshiabu like you did with Artemijus Tutyškinas. Thanks! Kokoeist (talk) 19:13, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for December 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Alessandro Bianco, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sky Sport. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:01, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yansané[edit]

Hello Cocô53. Please just add whatever content you want to add to Sekou Yansané directly on the article I made at Sekou Yansané. Thanks. Paul Vaurie (talk) 22:27, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Cocô53: Hey Cocô53, I just saw your message on the history of Sekou Oumar Yansané. There is no need to request a merge, the article can just be quickly redirected. What is on Sekou Oumar Yansané is already on Sekou Yansané. With all objectivity, Sekou Yansané is the correct article title and the page located there is better. Ways to improve Dario Šits[edit]

Hello, Cocô53,

Thank you for creating Dario Šits.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

What is needed are references from significant coverage about this player, and not their own words; in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS; that is your guide. Lists, Team rosters, pages listing matches and results, databases, Instagram, Soccerway, Facebook, none of these are reliable sources. (There have been changes to the notability guide for sports - see WP:NSPORT ) You may also read WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources. A more comprehensive guide is WP:SOURCES ... Providing sufficient references, ideally giving more information about this player, that meet these criteria is likely to allow this article to remain. Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that this article is not suitable for inclusion. Kindly do the needful. Thank you.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Daily Mail reference at Edwin Andersson[edit]

Hi. Please do not use the Daily Mail or the Daily Star as you did at Edwin Andersson. They are not reliable sources. See WP:DAILYMAIL and WP:DAILYSTAR. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 10:49, 17 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Concern regarding Draft:Joël Merkler[edit]

Information icon Hello, Cocô53. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:Joël Merkler, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Drafts that have not been edited for six months may be deleted, so if you wish to retain the page, please edit it again or request that it be moved to your userspace.

If the page has already been deleted, you can request it be undeleted so you can continue working on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. FireflyBot (talk) 22:02, 15 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request[edit]

Please don't rename a random draft, rename it and move it to mainspace when you can see there is already a draft in the name of that footballer. You have already did like that with Artemijus Tutyškinas and Warren Zaïre-Emery. And now with Natanas Žebrauskas as well.

Now, I have to request someone to merge these two pages. It is honestly tiring. Hope you can understand. Thanks! Kokoeist (talk) 21:09, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Kokoeist: alright, let's be clear: I think that your preemptive systematical creations of drafts are very problematic and are nothing but a way to bypass the notability guidelines, with the sole purpose of then being able to say on your user page that you "created" this article. If everybody acted like you we would have an infinity of u16 academy players having drafts created, with most of them probably never making it to a professional career.
For this specific case, the article I created was already much more complete than yours, with most of the relevant secondary sources, and there was no reason to think your draft was a "better" version to put in the mainspace. Using personal user pages is also a completely valid way to create drafts and publish them.
Asking for a merge doesn't make any sense, and I'm honestly baffled that any administrator would allow you such nonsense. For example with Zaïre-Emery you didn't add the slightest bit of your previous minimalist draft to the then "merged version". Again you only wanted to be able to say "I created this page", which his honestly a quite pointless and problematic behavior in my opinion. Also since, from what I've last seen, the guidelines applied to the football project are the general ones. So either there are enough reliable secondary sources to create an article right away, either there are not, and making a draft just waiting for sources to drop is pointless.
Hope you can move on from this "I want to be identified as the creator of this article at any cost" type of behavior. This is not what brings quality and good collaboration to our project.
Sincerly, --Coco (talk) 21:34, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, it is not about who created the better version. If you actually cared about the project, you wouldn't have to dig in some random page you made in 2021, and rename it. You'd rather contribute to the existing draft. But you did it because, the date will go even before the date in which the draft version was created. So it is clear that who needs to be "identified as the creator" thing.

Second thing, I never said that mine was more complete. I pointed the specific behaviour of yours which is renaming some old pages, when it is obvious that you have seen there is an existing draft version of that footballer. Isn't it easier to contribute to the existing draft and publish it in mainspace? I never claimed that mine should be put on the mainspace instead. Before you accuse me for being problematic, maybe you could see that now a draft page and mainspace article of a single player exists, for which an admin have to spend time and merge the two versions. Hope you gets it! Kokoeist (talk) 22:20, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Just a note of appreciation[edit]

Hello! I just wanted to thank you for helping me reviewing one of my latest drafts. I appreciate it!

I thought it wasn't ready to be published yet, but I'm happy that is not the case anymore.

[P.S. Ho notato soltanto ora che potrei scriverti direttamente in italiano... : D In ogni caso, grazie!]

Two amicable notes[edit]

When you create a page on a footballer, you musn't forget to add the year of birth in the short description as I did at Giacomo Faticanti. When you create a page and you manage to write 1500 prose characters within the first seven days, it'd be a shame not nominating the article for WP:DYK (you could publicise your great work at the Main page). Un petit message[edit]

Bonjour Cocô53.

Hello, Cocô53. Thank you for your work on Antoine Gibert. Bastun, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Hi, Cocó53. Nice work on your new article. In my opinion, it would benefit from being added to relevant Wikicategories. Additional secondary sources would also be good, and a 'photo needed' template could be added to the talk page. Good job!
